Laura Monyeazo Abebe

She was born on July 29, 1989, in the United Kingdom but attended Corona Primary School, Ikoyi, Lagos for her primary education. Moet spent one year of her secondary education in Dowen College before moving on to Woldingham School and St. Teresa’s Secondary School, in Surrey where she did her GCSE’s and A-Levels. While in Secondary school, she had interests in extracurricular activities like Athletics, Dance, Acting and Public Speaking. She holds a degree in Law from the University of Manchester.

Moet’s career started at Soundcity as a TV Presenter after she attended the Soundcity’s audition three months after she came back to Nigeria. She was the host of the One on One Show, Global Countdown Show and Body and Soul. She also hosts a number of shows on Soundcity’s 98.5 Fm like ‘The Takeover’ from Monday to Friday, 2-6 pm.

As an actress, she has gotten a few movie and TV series roles including Oasis, Living Arrangement and Red Card.

Moet owns LM Occasions, an Event Management and Catering Company with her mother, Dr (Mrs.) Abebe.
