Personal Life

Ned Nwoko was born a member of the Nwoko royal family in Idumuje Ugboko kingdom, Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.

Sources say he has six wives and among them is Nollywood star Regina Daniels who he married in 2019. He has a boy with her named Munir.

Education

Nwoko got his primary and secondary education in Nigeria and then moved to the U.K. where he bagged his first degree in Law and History at the University of Keele.

He also attended Kings College London where he received an LLM in Maritime and Commercial Law.

Career

Nwoko began his career prosecuting for the crown, qualifying as a solicitor for the Supreme Court of England and Wales. He worked at Kumars Solicitors and Pascaldiers & Co Solicitors before setting up Ned Nwoko and Co Solicitors in London.

He returned to Nigeria in 1998 and made his entry into the political space when he was elected a member of the House of Representatives between 1999 and 2003.

He contested for the Delta State gubernatorial election in 2011 and lost to James Ibori. He also lost the Senatorial election to Ifeanyi Okowa.
