Burutu 2023 Presidential Election Results
Burutu Local Government Area is located in Delta State, Nigeria. The LGA lies on the coast of the Niger Delta, on two sides of the Forcados River, a channel of the River Niger, 30 kilometers (20 miles) upstream from the Bight of Benin.
The LGA estimated population is 128,511 inhabitants. It is mostly populated by people of the Izon ethnicity, specifically the Ijaws. The Ijaw language is extensively spoken in the area. Some town and villages include Iduwumi, Kolorugbene, Agbodobiri, Okrika, Egodor, Obatebe, Benibayo, Operemor, and others.
