History Of Jibia

Jibia Local Government Area is positioned in Katsina State, Northwest Nigeria. It shares borders with neighboring LGAs such as Batsari, Kaita, and Batagarawa. Additionally, parts of Zamfara state and the Niger Republic are adjacent to Jibia.

As of 2003, the population of Jibia LGA was approximately 125,000 inhabitants, residing within an area spanning 1,037 square kilometers. Jibia LGA comprises several towns and villages, including Daddara, Tudun Wada, Magama, Faru, and Matso-Matso, among others. The population of Jibia LGA is primarily composed of members of the Fulani ethnic group.

The Fulfulde language, also known as Fula or Fulani, is commonly spoken in Jibia LGA. The postal code is 822.
