Katsina Local Government Area (LGA) and the capital city of Katsina State, situated in northern Nigeria. It is located approximately 260 kilometers (160 miles) east of Sokoto city and 135 kilometers (84 miles) northwest of Kano city. It is situated close to the border with Niger Republic.
