Abba Kyari's six residential houses and shopping plaza in Maiduguri have been marked for investigation by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
The Assurance Plaza, a two-story shopping complex, is located along the Giwa Barracks road in Maiduguri and has 100 stores.
According to reports, six other houses within the Maiduguri New Government Residential Area allegedly belonging to the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police have also been marked by the NDLEA.
The development comes barely 48 hours after a suspected drug dealer linked to the N3 billion Tramadol case was apprehended by NDLEA operatives in Lagos.
The individual in question, Chief Afam Mallinson Emmanuel Ukatu, a Nigerian billionaire, was taken into custody after months of surveillance and evading arrest.
