The petitions were filed by the Alliance for Democracy (AD), Accord Party (AP) Advanced Nigeria Democratic Party (ANDP) and Labour Movement (LM).
It will be recalled that Diri who came second at the Bayelsa State governorship election in 2019, emerged governor of the state after the Supreme Court disqualified the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) candidate David Lyon who earlier emerged the winner of the poll.
There have been a series of petitions against the emergence of Diri as the Governor of Bayelsa State.
