BBNaija 2021: How Maria Stopped Housemates From Sending Goodwill Message To Kayvee

The housemates of the BBNaija Shine Ya Eye edition wanted to send a goodwill message to Kayvee, a former contestant who had to leave due to health reasons, but were stopped by Maria.

On Friday, Big Brother gave the housemates a task revolving around mental health issues, and naturally, Kayvee's plight came to mind.

Fans of the reality show will recall that Kayvee's unceremonious exit was as a result of his unusual behaviour which Whitemoney brought to the attention of the others.

Responding to the controversy surrounding his decision to leave, Kayvee had said in a statement that it was due to the anxiety he felt after spending time in isolation.

While preparing for their task on Friday morning, some of the housemates suggested that a goodwill message be sent to Kayvee but Maria kicked against it.

According to the present head of house, Biggie might not be pleased with their decision so it was better for all involved not to do anything that would jeopardize their stay in the house.

She also added that viewers of the show might be aware of what what was going on so it wouldn't be wise to go on with the gesture.

"We're probably doing this for him", Maria told the others. "Cos we don't even know what the viewers know and what they don't know.

"They might not even know what's wrong with him."
