An interview where former BBNaija housemate, Maria Chike Benjamin, said no man is bankrolling her has surfaced on the internet.
This is shortly after celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest accused her of having an affair with his sister's husband, Kelvin.
In the interview, Maria revealed that she is a very hardworking girl contrary to the opinion that men are funding her lifestyle because she has pretty girl privilege.
The 29-year-old realtor added that she had worked from the age of sixteen and had two jobs while she was in the University.
The reality TV star said, "Or they would say she got this, her lifestyle is all because she is pretty or maybe there are men sending her money or like expensive gifts. None of that, absolutely none of that.
"I've actually worked from the age of sixteen. I went to University, I went to high school and I had two jobs all through my University. I was working and going to school at the same time. I pay my own rent, I live by myself I've looked after myself, I'm a hardworking person.
"Sometimes when people say she's got all of these or she's who she is, I'm actually still a nobody.
"But because she is pretty it just gets me upset because I don't even care about my own beauty. Beauty is all in the eye of the beholder. Some people might see me and be like she's alright she's not special
"Also, beauty cannot make a person because beauty only lasts for a short period of time."
Back on the show, Maria at one point slipped and called Pere by the name Kelvin. At that time, it was thought that Kelvin was probably her man outside the house.
Also, she had recently written a cryptic post on her Inststory where she claimed that if she cannot have a particular person, no one can.
On one of her Instagram stories, she posted her car's dashboard in Dubai with the caption 'furniture's day. When zoomed in, the name 'Kelvin's iPhone' was seen.
