Nnamdi Kanu, a Nigerian Biafra political activist, and leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a group canvassing for the secession and sovereignty of Eastern Nigeria, has said that because he demanded an explanation about Vice-President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo's whereabouts, "Jihadists in Aso Rock compiled photoshopped pictures to keep deceiving Nigerians", AllNews reports.
Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), on Monday visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House in Abuja, the nation's capital.
The meeting reportedly took place in the President's official office. After the appointment which also had in attendance Prof. Osinbajo, a pastor of the RCCG, the renowned preacher declined an interview.
Reacting on Tuesday, controversial Kanu asserted via his known Facebook page that the pictures that surfaced online are "fake" as he maintains that Buhari is dead.
According to the 52-year-old, Buhari has been replaced by an imposter “Jubril” from Sudan.
The Abia-born lead Biafra apostle has been using social media activism to propagate his rhetoric and views among the masses.
He claims that there are some unnamed ‘cabals’ in Aso Rock who are running the affairs of Nigeria.
Kanu described the West African country's leader as "doppelgänger".
