Okorafor made this disclosure on her valid Facebook page on Saturday. The Canada-based top follower of Kanu vowed to open another Twitter account soon.
It is not yet clear why the American microblogging platform suspended Okorafor’s Twitter account. But it may not be unconnected with abusive behaviours, which some Nigerians have accused the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) proponents of.
IPOB is a controversial group founded by diaspora-based Kanu in 2012, with the main aim of having its own nation, that'll be called Biafra.

Earlier this year (in February), Facebook removed the page of Kanu “for violating its rules on harm and hate speech”.
Kanu's page was removed for repeated violation of its community rules.
He had reportedly posted a video of a militia group attacking and killing cattle in a herders' settlement.
He also used the live broadcast to accuse herders of destroying farmlands in eastern Nigeria.
The Nigerian separatist leader subsequently opened a new Facebook account though.
