COVID-19: Europe's Death Toll Exceeds 150,000

 

The death toll from the novel coronavirus in Europe has exceeded 150,000, with most of the numbers emerging from Great Britain, Italy, Germany, and Spain.

Europe has a combined total of 1,640,799 confirmed coronavirus cases, with 150,138 fatalities recorded.

The continent remains the worst-hit by the disease that has claimed 263,573 lives across the globe.

Britain has been worst-hit in Europe, unseating Italy, with a total of 30,076 deaths, while Italy has a total of 29,684, with Spain following closely with 26,070 deaths, France has a total of 25,809 fatalities from the disease.
