The Nigeria Center for Disease and Control (NCDC) on Sunday recorded 917 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) disease across the state, AllNews reports.
The country’s infectious disease outfit made this known via its official Twitter handle on Sunday night said Lagos and Abuja are still the states with the highest records of COVID-19 viruses in the country.
So far the country had recorded 1,311 deaths and discharged 75,044 patients recovered from the covid-19 viral virus as the second wave of the infection unfolds.
This online news medium had reports that the country has so far tested 948,048 people since the first confirmed case of COVID-19 was announced on Feb. 27, 2020.
According to the agency, the total number of COVID-19 infected people in the country is put at 90,080 as of January 3, 2020.
