President of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Suleman Johnson says hunger in Nigeria is 'the real issue' and not the Coronavirus disease itself, as "many will escape COVID-19".
Allnews reports that in a Twitter update on his verified handle on Wednesday morning, the fiery preacher tagged hunger 'COVID-20'.
The president had announced lockdown extension in some parts of Nigeria on Monday evening, and as well declared that the palliative measures such as food distribution, cash transfers, and loan repayment waivers to ease the pains of the government's restrictive policies during the lockdown will be sustained.
According to Buhari, the lockdown extension became necessary with the increase in the number of recorded cases in the country.
