#DeadlineDay: Check Out Transfer Situation Of Cavani To Barcelona

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Edinson Cavani will not join Barcelona.

Romano, via his verified Facebook page on Tuesday, says the Uruguayan is not leaving Manchester United in the final hours of the 2021 transfer market --  as confirmed by all parties involved.

Tuesday, August 31 (transfer deadline day), also marks Oscar Mingueza's official registration as a Barcelona first-team player.

The defender appeared in his side's clash on Sunday against Getafe after having missed the first two games of the 2021/22 LaLiga Santander season due to some discomfort caused by his involvement in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Mingueza made his debut for the first team squad under Ronald Koeman in Barcelona's 2020/21 campaign, making a total of 39 appearances, 32 of which he started.

His versatility as a wide player and central defender were what attracted Koeman to the Spaniard.

Now, his registration with La Liga is complete.
