Deeper Life High School has responded to the accusation by a mother identified as Deborah Okezie, who said that her 11-year-old son, a student of the school’s branch in Akwa-Ibom, was sexually molested.
In a viral video Okezie shared on social media, she interviewed her son who just returned home from boarding school and he opened up on how he was starved for days, beaten, and sent to senior students’ hostel where he was also abused.

In a response via a statement, Deeper Life School management maintained that the school does not tolerate immoral acts or molestation of the students.
The school, however, assured that investigation is ongoing on the issue, adding that disciplinary actions will be carried out on anyone found culpable in the abuse of the child.
