The National Chairman of the Edo State Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike is already sending a congratulatory message to Governor Godwin Obaseki, who is the candidate of 'the Umbrella party'.
According to Wike on his known Twitter handle on Sunday morning, the PDP has 'fulfilled its obligation of kicking out godfatherism in Nigeria'.
Obaseki is running for reelection on the platform of the PDP after being denied renomination by the All Progressives Congress (APC) arising from his falling out with Adams Oshiomhole who was the then-national chairman of the party.
