Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) star, Mike Edwards has unveiled his plans to lead a protest against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in the United Kingdom.
AllNews reports that top personalities and other citizens in the country have over time called for an end to the anti-robbery squad, as a result of the incessant killing of youths.
Over the weekend, celebrities, in a renewed online protest, took to their social media pages to call for an end to the squad with several hashtags such as #EndSars, #EndSarspermanentlyNow, etc.
The protest began after a video where SARS operatives allegedly gunned down a man in Delta State.
On Thursday, celebrities like Tiwa Savage, Mr. Macaroni, Falz, Runtown, Runtown, Rude Boy, Jaywon, BBNaija's Tacha, and Prince, among others partook in a protest in Lagos.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Edward asked Nigerians in the diaspora to also lend their voices in the ongoing campaign against SARS.
"I want to lead the #EndSARS protest here in London, who will join me? Nigerians in the Diaspora let’s not be silent," he tweeted.
