The DG of the International organization disclosed this during her visit to the Central Bank of Nigeria on Tuesday in Abuja.
In July 2019, the CBN included milk and dairy products on its list of items not eligible for foreign exchange.

This led to the restriction on the importation of milk into Nigeria, as the commodity had been grouped as part of agro-products such as tomatoes, rice etc.
Okojo-Iweal in his remark said that WTO would look into the complaints presented to the organization by the EU, encouraging Nigeria to take advantage of the clobal trade opportunities of being a member of the WTO.
