 Former Governor Dickson Wins By-Election As PDP Sweeps Baye

The former Governor of Bayelsa State Seriake Dickson emerged victorious at the Bayelsa West Senatorial District by-election, as the Peoples Democratic Party sweeps the two elective positions contested for at the by-election in the state.

Contesting on the platform of PDP, Dickson who polled a total of 183, 413 votes to emerge as the winner of the By-election was followed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Peremobowei Ebebi, who garnered 24, 844.

Also in Bayelsa state, the candidate of PDP at the By-election that took place in   Kolokuma/Opokuma, Yenagoa, and Southern Ijaw local government areas of the state Moses Cleopas, polled a total of  129,019 votes to defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Peremobowei Ebebi, who garnered 24, 844.

AllNews recalls that APC won the By-Election that held in Lagos, Imo, Katsina, and Bauchi on Saturday.

Emerging victorious at the Lagos East Senatorial district by-election, Tokunbo Abiru of APC polled a total of 89,204 votes to defeat Babatunde Gbadamosi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who managed to gather a total of 11,257 votes.
