Top-notch singer and DMW boss, David Adeleke aka Davido has opened up on his decision to snub his family business and opt in for music.
AllNews reports that Davido, who has been absent on social media for over two months, appeared in an Instagram live session with Grammy Museum, where he spoke on his career.
According to the father of three, music is something he has been destined to do and all he did was to fight for it.
“It wasn’t like oh I wanna go and rebel and do my own thing. It wasn’t really that. I was just in love with music. I couldn’t concentrate on anything else.
"I was slacking in school, I was slacking in a lot of other things I was meant to be focusing on. It was just music music music. I had to fight for it. It was what I knew I was destined to do,” he said.
On his much anticipated album dubbed “ A Better Time”, the A-list singer said it was still in progress.
