Bella Shmurda has taken to his social media pages to reminisce on his rise to stardom and brag over his recent achievement.
In a Twitter post, the 'Rush' singer said he was grateful for being stubborn and never passing his exams while studying at the Lagos State University (LASU).
The singer thanked celebrity dancer Poco Lee for telling him to do the 'Vision 2020' video which went viral, prompting rapper Olamide to collaborate with him on the remix.
He also thanked Olamide for giving him listening ears and being open to upcoming acts.
Speaking of his achievements, he noted that he now has over half a billion streams on music streaming platforms, adding that if not for music he would still be battling with carryovers in school and left cash-strapped.
"Thank God I was stubborn and I never got to pass those exams then. Big thanks to Poco Lee for telling me to do that vision2020 viral video, shoutout to Olamide for his listening ears and open hands for upcoming acts," he wrote.
"I am now worth over half a billion streams. (550millions streams to be precise). I for still Dey LASU Dey wine and dine with carryovers and stranded with nothing in my pocket... forever glad I did my thing."
