Kagara Abduction Update: Gumi Reveals When Kagara Students,

Sheik Ahmed Gumi has revealed that students and staff of Government Science College, Kagara, Niger State will be released soon.

Gumi gave the assurance after a meeting with bandits in forests between Tegina in Niger state and Birnin Gwari in Kaduna state.

AllNews Nigeria learnt that Gumi met with the bandits’ leader, Dogo Gide, among other top bandit chiefs at Dutsen Magaji Forest.

The cleric appealed to the bandits to give peace a chance and negotiate with the government in order to secure the release of the abductees.

It was also gathered that the government also sent a strong delegation to meet with the bandits and dialogue with them

However, Gumi and his entourage are on their way back to Minna.

Recall that the bandits invaded the school and abducted some students, staff, and family members of the school in the early hours of Wednesday, February 17, 2021.

The abducted students included: Jamilu Isah, Shem Joshua, Abbas Abdullahi, Isah Abdullahi, Ezekeil Danladi, Haliru Shuibu, Mamuda Suleman, Danzakar Dauda, Abdulsamad Sanusi, Bashir Abbas.

Suleman Lawal, Abdullahi Adamu, Habakuk Augustine, Idris Mohammed, Musa Adamu, Abdulkarim Abdulrahman, Abubakar Danjumma, Abdullahi Abubakar, Bashir Kamalideen, Mohammed Salisu.

Yusuf M Kabir, Isah Abdullah Makusidi, Polineous Vicente, Lawal Bello, Mohammed K Shehu, Mubarak Sidi and Abdulsamad Nuhu.
