A steering committee to plan and execute a youth summit that will chart the roadmap to address the concerns of young persons has been inaugurated by the Benue State Government.
The State Governor, Samuel Loraer Ortom, who inaugurated the committee on Wednesday in Makurdi, the state capital, urged its chairman [Dave Ogbole] and members to uphold equity, fairness, and all-inclusiveness in the state assignment. Read more here.
A Patience Simon Robert was arrested by the Economic and Finacial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Makurdi, Benue State capital for posing as an EFCC officer.
Robert was reported to have defrauded people by promising them jobs at the commission and at the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS). Read more here.
The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, said that 10 new airports will be constructed in different states across the country.
