The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday announced that 201 new confirmed Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases and 1 death were recorded in the country.

The Osun state government has okayed the re-opening of worship centers and markets across the state.
Making this announcement in a statement by the state Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Funke Egbemode, on Wednesday, the state government announced that all markets are now allowed to commence full operations while worship centers can now commence their weekly services, in line with COVID-19 guidelines. As the death toll from coronavirus in Indonesia rises, the government commissioned the digging of 6,000 graves to accommodate the bodies of victims of the disease.
The graves span two hectares of land and are located at the Rorotan public cemetery in Jakarta, the country's capital. Read more here.
The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 has said that 80 passengers - of the 2,403 international travellers tested - were positive for coronavirus after seven days of arriving in Nigeria.
