Former minister of Education Oby Ezekwesili has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to take responsibility for the shootings of #ENDSARS protesters by men of the Nigerian army in Lekki.
Ezekwesili who took to her social media page to make this call said that the President is the Commander in Chief of Armed Forces and Should be held responsible for the shootings at the Lekki toll gate.
Asking President Buhari to act immediately, the former education minister said that the blood of innocent citizens reportedly killed by men of the Nigerian army was 'crying for justice'.
"@MBuhari, please tell your citizens what happened to our compatriots in the #LekkiMassacre . You are the President, C-in-C and are accountable for what @HQNigerianArmy did on the night of 20.10. 2020. The blood of the innocent citizens is crying out for Justice. #ActNow," she tweeted.
It will be recalled Ezekwesili who had been an active voice during the cause of the #ENDSARS protest commended the Youths for their courage during the #ENDSARS protest.
The former minister who praised the youths said that the government cannot discredit their achievements.
