Lekki Shootings: They Will Soon Go After CNN, Sowore Reacts

Human Rights activist, Omoyele Sowore has reacted to the recent investigative report by CNN on the Lekki tollgate shooting.

Sowore who took to his Twitter page to react to the report said that the lies of those claiming that nobody died at the Lekki tollgate had started falling apart.

The CNN report affirmed that people indeed died in the Lekki shooting.

Sowore was one of the active voices during the #ENDSARS protests.

Though Sowore did not mention those he was referring to but AllNews recalls that elements of the federal government, Lagos state, and the Nigerian army had earlier claimed that nobody died during the attack on #ENDSARS protesters by men of the Nigerian army.

"#EndSARS To those without conscience who kept claiming nobody died at #LekkiMassaccre, #Lekkilies are falling apart like a pack of cards! Next they will go after @CNN  but what does it matter? 'How a bloody night of bullets quashed a young protest movement'," the tweet by Sowore read.

It will be recalled that Sowore had earlier asked Nigerian university students to embark on a protest to force President Muhammadu Buhari to end the ASUU strike.
