Payment for the January and February stipends of N-Power Tech Software beneficiaries is "ongoing", the scheme says.
Allnews had reported how beneficiaries of the Federal Government's N-Power initiative called on Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development (FMHDSD) to settle their February stipend as soon as possible.
The N-Power Tech for developers programme trained and positioned 10,000 hands-on software developers for the local and international software development market.
Participants, aged 18 to 35, underwent a project-based model to training wherein they were exposed to foundational software development tools as well as resources to thrive as a modern-day software developer entrepreneur.

According to the FG, the training which lasted 11 weeks seeks to establish the foundation knowledge, tools, and platform upon which participants can pursue a career as software development entrepreneurs.
One Efosa Efionayi had asked the scheme on Twitter when he will receive his own payment as his colleagues have been getting theirs. The official handle of the scheme then asked him to "remain patient".
See conversation below:
Please remain patient, payment is still ongoing.
