N-Power: Nigerian Authorities Finally Releases NEXIT Portal

Authorities in Nigeria have finally released the NEXIT Portal (N-Power portal), AllNews reports.

According to a tweet on Monday by Nneka Ikem, the Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development (Sadiya Farouq), the NEXIT Portal is http://nexit-fmhds.cbn.gov.ng.

Recall AllNews had reported last Friday's announcement by the Nigerian government about the launch of a portal for exited N-Power beneficiaries to apply for the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) empowerment options. The announcement was met with loss of hope by the majority of people.

Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs had in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Bashir Nura Alkali, urged interested exited beneficiaries "to log on to the portal and provide the required additional information for possible placements into the various CBN intervention options".

They call it the NEXIT portal.

A few minutes after that announcement, Ikem had provided a further update on the NEXIT, asking the erstwhile beneficiaries to "standby for a text message on the log in details".

Meanwhile, at the time no portal link was made available by the Nigerian authorities, the exited N-Power beneficiaries who have been thrown out of the famed scheme since at least July 2020 were dismayed.

In the interval, when AllNews tried visiting the released NEXT portal (nexit-fmhds.cbn.gov.ng/), it displayed 'Server Error'. This reporter tried at least twice.
