Ondo Election: What Akeredolu Said After Casting Vote

On Ondo Election day, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rotimi Akeredolu, says God would give him victory.

Recall AllNews earlier reported that Akeredolu and his wife, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu were given priority to vote immediately after they arrived at the Polling Unit.

AllNews understands that they did not spend up to 15 minutes at their polling unit.

According to Akeredolu, although the early morning rain disrupted the exercise, people have started coming out.

"I have always said that mine is about God.

"I know that God in his infinite mercy will give me victory.

"My confidence is in God.”

Akeredolu has his estranged deputy and candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Agboola Ajayi; as well as Peoples Democratic Party (PDP’s) Eyitayo Jegede as major contenders in the Ondo Election.
