Prioritize Personal Growth Over Serious Relationships — Deyemi Okanlawon

Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon has advised individuals who are not financially stable to take a break from serious relationships and focus on building themselves.

In a tweet he posted on his Twitter handle, Okanlawon suggested that his message is meant for both men and women.

“If you’re not yet financially buoyant perhaps it is wise take a break from "serious" relationship and focus on building yourself... this message from the federal association of common sense is for men & women,” he tweeted.

While the actor believes that people should feel free to love and date anyone at any stage of their lives, he thinks that individuals who are looking to engage in more serious, intentional, and committed relationships may need to approach things differently.

According to Okanlawon, focusing on personal development and financial stability may be a wise decision for those who are not yet financially buoyant.

“Everyone should feel free to love and date anyone at any time/stage of their lives if they so choose... but perhaps for more serious (intentional, committed) relationships you may want to approach things slightly different?”
