Pro-Biafra Group Leader, Nnamdi Kanu Of IPOB Reveals Shockin

Biafra political activist and leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has opined that it is "shocking" that Southern Nigerians are tolerating a Northern Muslim Nigeria President using the Army to kill unarmed Southern #EndSARS protesters in Lagos, AllNews reports.

Security agents had shot at peaceful protesters at Lekki Toll Gate who defied the curfew announced by the Lagos State government on Tuesday.

While observers claim about 20 lives of peaceful protesters were cut short, authorities in Nigeria's commercial hub insist no life was lost.

Controversial Kanu, taking to his known Twitter handle on Wednesday played the ethnic card.

Earlier, Kanu, of the outlawed separatist organization, had urged protesters not to relent.

Speaking through the spokesman of IPOB, Emma Powerful, Kanu said the attack on protesters will not go without repercussions.

The statement read: “As this struggle to free Nigerians from bondage and Fulani subjugation gets to its crucial stage, we the global movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, urge the #EndSARS protesters not to give up.

"As our leader predicted the oppressors will try every option including shooting at the protesters to quell the protest, but nobody should be detered."
