Kannywood actress Rahama Sadau has refuted claims that she has been arrested and sentenced to jail for blasphemy emanating from her photo which stirred controversies in the internet community.
AllNews reports that there have been controversies surrounding the photo of the actress in a backless gown, as many alleged that she promoted indecency.
In the early hours of Tuesday, November 10, reports made rounds that she was sentenced to jail for blasphemy, and the actress has in a series of tweets described them as “fake”
According to the beautiful actress, she has not received any invitation from the police or court trial.
"I have received many messages that I have been arrested and sentenced to jail earlier today. I have no idea where the news emanated from. I'm therefore calling on people to stop spreading FAKE and unfounded stories," she tweeted.
