Real Madrid Outcast, Bale Wants Tottenham Return, Says Agent

Real Madrid Outcast, Bale Wants Tottenham Return, Says Agent

Real Madrid outcast, Gareth Bale wants a return to the Premier League and preferably his old club Tottenham. Gareth Bale's agent, Jonathan Barnett says that Real Madrid is in negotiations with Tottenham over a move for the Wales star.

AllNews understands that Bale would like to return to Spurs - where he spent six seasons between 2007 and 2013 - if a deal can be agreed with Real Madrid.

Bale left for La Liga in 2013 since which the former Spurs star won four Champions League titles during his time in Spain.

The winger has scored 105 goals in 251 matches at Real Madrid, also won two La Liga titles coupled with the 4 European glories.

Bale's representatives are also speaking to other Premier League clubs, but Real Madrid has not agreed to a deal with anyone.

However, the 31-year-old has fallen down the pecking order of Zinedine Zidane's plans as he made only 16 appearances last season in all competitions.

Bale has been heavily linked with a departure this summer, having also been frequently rumoured to be on the move several times in recent seasons.

Why does Bale need to leave?

The Spanish media are reporting that his shirt has been removed from the Real Madrid club shop in Madrid. There are no pictures or footage of him on their social media feeds.

He's obviously not training at the moment. He returned from international duty with a knee injury so he's on his own in the gym at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid is basically sending out the message to Bale that was already clear because Zinedine Zidane wasn't picking him - that he does not have a future at the club. They want him to leave and so get rid of his massive wages, which is between £500,00 and £600,000-a-week, off their expenditure.

Why Tottenham?

Bale won both the PFA Players' Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year that season, also adding the FWA Footballer of the Year Award before joining Real Madrid. He did all that at the White Hart Lane.

Jose Mourinho said before the season opener against Everton, which Spurs lost 1-0, that he "needs a striker".

Tottenham has spent almost £30m on the signings of free agent goalkeeper Joe Hart, right-back Matt Doherty from Wolves, and midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton this summer, but so far no back up for Kane.

The Wales international has been linked with a Premier League return, and his former club appears to be the frontrunner if both Madrid and Tottenham can reach an agreement.
