'Shame On You', Wizkid Comes For Buhari's Aide

Nigerian music star, Wizkid has slammed Lauretta Onochie, the Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, who berated him over his remarks on call for an end to Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

AllNews earlier reported that Wizkid joined other top personalities and citizens calling for an end to SARS, following their incessant killings and unjust treatments of the youths.

In a renewed protest on micro-blogging platform, Twitter, the 30-year-old singer slammed Buhari for his 'nonchalance' over the issue.

While reacting to a tweet where Buhari sent a "get well soon" message to United States President, Donald Trump who contracted  COVID-19, the "Joro" crooner asked the Nigerian president to "mind his business".

Wizkid had tweeted "Donald Trump is not your business! Old man! Police/Sarz still killing Nigerian youth on a daily! Do something! Nothing concern u for America! Face your country !!."

Replying to Wizkid's remarks on her Twitter page, Onochie referred to Wizkid as a "dumb kid" for slamming the president.

"It's not disrespectful to call anyone old. Its the way and manner Ayo Balogun addressed the President that leaves a sour taste in the mouth. He exhibited crass ignorance, insensitivity and childishness. But hey, he's a #DumbkidNotWhizKid When he grows up, he might learn respect," she tweeted.

Reacting, the "Joro" crooner slammed the president's aide, saying "lol a 77-year-old man is not young ma.. You are a woman and a mother and kids are getting killed by police/sars and this is all you have to say? shame on you!!! shame on you!! I am a father and age has nothing to do with demanding for a better governance in my country!!"

Recall that Wizkid's message to Buhari did not also sit well with singer, Blackface who asked him to face his music, with the hashtag #ChildrenOfNowAdays.

Blackface, a member of the defunct Plantashun Boyz music group tweeted “Why don’t you face your music small man? I understand why that is difficult because it doesn’t have any substance #ChildrenOfNowAdays."

The "Ahead Of The Game" hitmaker did not end there, as he said he does not think Wizkid is "that dumb to insult his father' as mate"
