Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, has responded in an online video after she refused to let Wizkid carry her on stage during their O2 performance.

Day 3 of Wizkid's "Made In Lagos" performance, which took place on December 1, was nothing short of spectacular, as Wizkid brought out famous artists such as Burnaboy, Ckay, Tems, and Skepta, among others, to delight thousands of fans at the 02 Arena in London.

However, one of the moments that sparked debate among online users was when singer Tems refused to let Wizkid carry her on stage during their performance.

Some internet users chastised Wizkid for allegedly harassing Tems during their performance, while others chastised Tems for allegedly acting tough on Wizkid, who had thrust her into the spotlight with the release of their hit song "Essence."

Tems has finally addressed the issue concerning the controversial video.

According to her statement, Wizkid is someone she looks up to, and he is human just like her, adding that she will always love Wizkid.

“I want y’all to remember Wiz is human and I am human too. Wiz is my brother and he’s someone I look up to.”
