Nollywood actor Richard Mofe Damijo, has revealed that Sound Sultan wished him a happy birthday three days earlier.
The veteran actor posted photos of Sound Sultan via Instagram, asking if he sent the birthday message early because he knew he might not be able to do so later.
RMD wrote, “Did you know when you wished me happy birthday three days earlier than usual that you won’t have the strength to do it a day later?
“Words would never be enough my brother. Love you men!”
Also, Daddy Showkey in a video posted on his Instagram expressed his disbelief at the death of Sound Sultan. He just kept saying 'Na lie, na lie' (It's a lie, It's a lie).
In an Instagram live, he said that he is still expecting a phone call to tell him Sound Sultan's death was a joke.
The death of Sound Sultan came as a rude shock to Nigerians on Sunday morning.
According to a statement signed by Dr. Kayode Fasasi, the 44-year-old basketball enthusiast fought a hard battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma but succumbed to it in the long run.
