The Donald Trump Administration is facing legal action over its policy on the revoking of visas for foreign students in the United States.
The administration is being sued by the Californian government and will be filed by the attorney general of California, pushing against the administration's decision to reopen schools in the country that could increase the spread of the virus in the country.
In a recent statement, the government of California said, “The Trump Administration’s unlawful policy… threatens to exacerbate the spread of COVID-19 and exile hundreds of thousands of college students studying in the United States."

The Trump administration had, on Monday, directed the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to issue a statement saying that international students enrolled in courses that are fully online for the fall semester will not be allowed into the States.
The California Attorney General, Becerra, stated, “Shame on the Trump Administration for risking not only the education opportunities for students who earned the chance to go to college but now their health and well-being as well."
