Twitter Ban: 'Being A Businessman Shouldn't Make You Heartless' - Ruggedman Tackles Adamu Garba [VIDEO]

Twitter Ban: 'Being A Businessman Shouldn't Make You Heartle

Veteran rapper, Ruggedman, has slammed former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba for promoting his own social media app, Crowwe, soon after the Twitter ban was announced.

In an Instagram Live session, he had with comedian, Seyi Law, and Garba, the rapper said that the Nigerian government is chasing after unnecessary things by suspending Twitter as the microblogging app is the least of the country's numerous problems.

Ruggedman mentioned how Nigeria has no meaningful technological innovation or production to her credit but is boasting of 'kilishi' as a technological breakthrough.

"We should be ashamed of ourselves. The government needs to invest in things we have in this country and move it forward not to be chasing social media. If we do great things we have wonderful human beings.

"A lot of Nigerians are excelling more outside Nigerian than inside Nigeria, why? The ones in Nigeria are dying, creativity in Nigeria is dying but the ones outside are excelling, why? Nothing works in Nigeria. Police are underserviced, the military is underpaid, nothing is happening. No quick policy has been made.

"Look at how fast you took Twitter down. If this was how fast the service police station is working do you think Nigeria will be as messed up as it is?"

Quizzing Garba on why he had to promote his app soon after the Twitter ban, Garba said that he is only a businessman. Ruggedman then slammed him that being a businessman should not make him heartless.

He said, "When Twitter was suspended, the last thing you should have done was start promoting your own. You are a businessman doesn't make you heartless my brother," he said.
