Wizkid's 'Essence' Remix Featuring Tems, Justin Bieber Loses Billboard Music Award

Wizkid's remixed hit single 'Essence' featuring Tems and Canadian singer Justin Bieber has lost out at the Billboard Music Award for the Top R&B Song category.

The hit song 'Essence' was nominated for the Top R&B Finalist Category alongside Doja Cat and The Weeknd's 'You Right', Silk Sonic's 'Leave The Door Open', Giveon's 'Heartbreak Anniversary', Justin Bieber, Daniel Caesar and Giveon's 'Peaches'.

However, Silk Sonic beat the other nominees to clinch the award.

For the first time since 2019, the Billboard Music Awards was held on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
