Everton fought tirelessly to earn all 3 points at the Molineux Stadium as Michael Keane netted in a 77th minute header to give Carlo Ancelotti's men all 3 points in a 1-2 thriller against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday.

Everton's top scorer, Dominic Calvert-Lewin was unavailable and Richarlison only fit enough for the bench but that did not stop Everton as they roared into an early lead through Alex Iwobi with just 5 minutes from kick-off.

However, Ruben Neves was on hand to finish off a brilliant Rayan Ait-Nouri assist as Wolves restored parity 14 minutes into the game.

The game failed to live up to the early billing as no goal was seen until the 77th minute when Michael Keane towered to meet Andre Gomes cross and head Everton to all 3 points which takes them to 4th on the log, 1 point behind Leicester City.

Carlo Ancelotti's men were the early pacesetters but injury had sidetracked them with several players including Lucas Digne out on injury, but they seem to be getting their rhythm back as Digne was the creator of the first goal.

They became the second Meyerside team to be in the top 5 behind Liverpool.
