Ahead of the 2023 election, the former Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu has advised the leaders of the Southeastern region to negotiate with the North to further strengthen the region's chances of producing the country's next president.Ekweremadu, who gave this advice on Wednesday, said that the clamour for Igbo presidency can only be realised if the region convinces the north to buy its initiative.

Officials of Kogi State Government have resolved to pay 80% more than their statutory obligations in order to stretch the health security opportunities to cater for the indigent citizens.
