Burial Arrangements For Sammie Okposo Revealed

The burial arrangement of late gospel singer Sammie Okposo has been revealed. 

Gospel singer Nikki Laoye, who was a friend of the deceased, made a post including an image of the programme of activities on her Instagram page on Monday.

According to the programme of activities, a farewell praise party alongside a tribute night would be held for the late singer on Tuesday, December 13. 

On Wednesday, December 14, a service of songs will also be held in honour of Okposo.

The arrangement revealed that the interment of the singer would be attended based on invitation on Thursday, December 15. 

The final burial of the "Welu Welu" crooner will be concluded with an outing service on Sunday, December 18, at The Logic Church, Lekki, Lagos.

Sammie Okposo was initially reported to have slumped and died before his manager confirmed that the singer died in his sleep on Friday, November 25 at the age of 51 (1971-2022).

Prominent Nigerians and fellow singers including Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and actor Richard Mofe-Damijo among others mourned the death of the Gospel singer who till his death remained a role model to many in the industry.
