Europa Conference League: Chukwueze On Target For Villarreal Against Lech Poznan

Super Eagles star Samuel Chukwueze was on target for Villarreal in the 4-3 win over Lech Pozna in Thursday's Europa Conference League encounter.

Chukwueze was handed a starting shirt by Villarreal manager Unai Emery and he repaid the gaffer's faith in him with a match-winning performance in Spain.

Lech Poznan opened the scoring in the seventh minute through Michal Skoras, and Chukwueze restored parity for Villarreal in the 32nd minute.

Alex Baena increased Villarreal's lead four minutes later with a quick-fire brace with the second goal assisted by Chukwueze through a sublime pass.

Lech Poznan fought back to make it 3-3, courtesy of two goals from Mikael Ishak.

Former Arsenal midfielder Coquelin scored the winner for Villarreal in the 89th minute to hand the Yellow Submarines the maximum points.

Chukwueze's goal against Lech Poznan was his first goal of the season, he is yet to open his goalscoring account in Laliga.
