2023: CAN Urges Anambra Youths To Resist Electoral Violence

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has advised youths in Anambra State to avoid being used by politicians to cause any form of violence in the 2023 general elections.

Osun Governor-Elect: NSCDC Deploys 3,700 Personnel

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun State Command has revealed that it will deploy 3,700 personnel for the inauguration of Senator Ademola Adeleke as governor of Osun State.

In a statement by the Osun NSCDC Commandant, Agboola Sunday and signed by Adeleke Kehinde, the Acting Public Relations Officer of Osun NSCDC Command, the security outfit and other sister agencies in the state had on Friday embarked on a show of force as a way of sending a signal to criminally minded individuals in the state. Lady Jubilates As She Escape Death In Osun Multiple Accident

A lady early on Saturday morning expressed gratitude to God for saving her and others from death as she survived an accident at Asejire town in Osun.

She revealed that she and other survivors had escaped a multiple-car crash on the Asejire bridge into the river on the Ibadan-Ife expressway. Read more here.

Cholera: Death Toll Hits 466

466 deaths and a total of 19,228 suspected cases of cholera have been recorded so far in 2022, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC)

CBN Says Nigeria’s Rising Inflation Consistent With Global Trend

Heavy rainfall triggered landslides on Saturday on the Italian island of Ischia. This left as many as 12 people missing.
