Ligue 1: Super Eagles Striker Moffi On Target For Lorient Against Lyon

Super Eagles striker continued his impressive start to the 2022-23 Ligue 1 season with a goal for Lorient against Lyon on Wednesday.

Lorient recorded a 3-1 win over Lyon courtesy of goals by Enzo Le Fee, Terem Moffi, and Dango Ouattara, while Alexandre Lacazette scored the only goal for Lyon.

Moffi has now scored five goals in six Ligue 1 games this season.

Enzo Le Fee opened the scoring for Lorient in the sixth minute before Lacazette restored parity for Lyon in the 28th minute.

Moffi restored Lorient's lead five minutes later to hand his team a first-half lead.

Dango Ouattara added the third goal for Lorient just after the restart to help them record their second consecutive following a 1-0 win over  Ajaccio on Sunday.

Lorient have moved up to fifth on the French Ligue 1 log following their impressive start to the 2022-23 season.

Moffi scored eight goals in the Ligue 1 last season, he will be aiming to improve on that return this season.
