6. Ramadan 2021: Church Donates Food Items To Needy Muslims In Kaduna

The Christ Evangelical and Life Intervention Ministry on Tuesday donated foodstuffs to Muslims in Rigasa,  the outskirts of Kaduna.

General Overseer of the church, Pastor Yohanna Buru, said the donation was to enable the needy to participate fully in the 30-day Ramadan fast, which began on Tuesday. Read more here.

7. Elon Musk Offered Volkswagen CEO The Role Of Tesla CEO

Tesla CEO Elon Musk reportedly attempted to hire the current Volkswagen CEO Herbert Diess to take his own role as chief executive officer at Tesla in 2015.

9. Facebook Launches Video-Based Speed Dating App

Leading social network Facebook is now testing a video speed-dating app called Sparked.

Sparked connects strangers so they can get to know each other through video calls. They will have 4 minutes to talk and see if the power is on. If both participants want to go further, they can indicate this after the video call and will then be rescheduled for a new 10-minute video interview this time around. After that point, Sparked can let the users exchange contact information and stay in touch via Instagram, iMessage, or email. Sparked is developed by the company's in-house NPE (New Product Experimentation) team. 10. Bauchi Government To Organise Mass Wedding For Sex Workers

Bauchi State Government led by Governor Bala Mohammed is set to conduct a census of all commercial sex workers in the state.

Speaking during a sensitization workshop organized for commercial sex workers, the Permanent Commissioner in charge of Hisbah and Sharia implementation, Aminu Balarabe-Isah said the state needed accurate data on the prostitutes. Read more here.
