Biafra political activist, Nnamdi Kanu on Monday claimed that hundreds of Igbo youths are being airlifted from Oyigbo in Rivers state to death camps in Northern Nigeria.

Kanu, the fugitive leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) alleges that some Biafran activists seized by Nigerian forces in Oyigbo (also called Obigbo - in Rivers State), are tortured and executed. Read more here.

2. Nigeria Is Facing The Worst Security Challenge - Yahaya

At the swearing-in of chairman across the 11 local government areas in the state, the Governor of Gombe, Inuwa Yahaya, said that the country was facing "the worst security challenge in its history".

3. Second Wave: Lagos Issue Strong Warning To Motorist, Threatens Sanction

Following the Second wave of COVID-19, the Lagos State government has on Monday issued a strong warning to motorists on COVID-19 guidelines.

Warning drivers adhere to all safety guidelines or risk being punished, the state Commissioner for Transportation, Frederic Oladeinde, re-emphasised that it was compulsory for bus drivers and their passengers to make use of a nose mask. Read more here.

4. COVID-19: Again FG Asks Civil Servants To Remain At Home

In the heat of the second wave of coronavirus in Nigeria, the Federal Government has asked all civil servants from level 12 and below to stay at home for the next five weeks.

Announcing the development in a statement on Monday, Boss Mustapha, the chairman of the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 also revealed that a 5 weeks restriction had been placed on the religious and social gatherings. Read more here.

6. NIMC: Nigerians React To Violation Of COVID-19 Protocols

Following a mammoth crowd that stormed the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) office at Alausa in Ikeja, Lagos on Monday, Nigerians have lashed out at the Lagos State Government and the Minister of Communications, Dr. Isa Ali Pantami.

AllNews Nigeria understands that the massive turn up at NIMC office is as a result of the mandate given by the Federal Government on December 14 that all Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) not synchronized with valid National Identity Number (NIN) by December 30th, 2020 will be disconnected. The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has shut down its office in Lagos State.

10.Apostle Okikijesu Reveals Top Nigerian Pastors 'Who Won't Make Heaven'

Apostle Paul Okikijesu of the Christ Apostolic Miracle Ministry has said that God revealed to him that 666 is coming, and that Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Bishop David Oyedepo, and Pastor William Kumuyi won’t make paradise.
