Official: Manuel Pellegrini Has Become Real Betis New Manage

Former Manchester City manager, Manuel Pellegrini has become Real Betis new manager after being given a 3-year deal on Thursday.

The former Villarreal and Malaga coach will enjoy another spell in the Spanish La Liga after the ones he had at Villarreal and Malaga, but this time at the autonomous community of Andalusia.

Pellegrini won the EPL title at Manchester City in 2013-14 as well as two league cups.

The Chilean who is 66 years old would take over next season from Rubi who was sacked last month after failing to win the first three matches after the restart of the La Liga fixtures and the sporting director Trujillo was placed in interim charge till the end of the season.

Pellegrini's last job was for West Ham United and was sacked after poor results and David Moyes was appointed.

Real Betis is one of Spain supported teams and they sit at 13th with 41 points, with 12 points above the relegation zone.
