Paderborn vs Dortmund: EPL Target Sancho Makes Bundesliga History After Hat-Trick

 

English Premier League (EPL) target, Jadon Sancho on Sunday became the youngest player in Bundesliga history to reach 30 goals following his second-half treble for Borussia Dortmund away at Paderborn.

AllNews reports that the title-chasers imitated Bayern and emphatically dispatched their opponents 6-1 in the West of Germany.

Thorgan Hazard, Achraf Hakimi and Marcel Schmelzer were among the goals.

The win takes Lucien Favre's side to seven points off the Bavarians on the log.

As well as being the youngest player in Bundesliga history to reach 30 goals, Sancho, 20, is the first player since beginning of detailed data collection (2004-05) to register at least 15 goals and assists in a single Bundesliga campaign.

After scoring one of his goals, the rumoured Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea target ripped off his shirt and paid tribute to George Floyd with a handwritten message.

It was Sancho's first senior career hat-trick for Die Borussen.

In 27 games this current campaign, the former Manchester City player has 27 goals and 16 assists.
